Our principal, Murray Pope, has worked directly for more than 130 marketing, research and advertising clients, based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland, plus the USA, United Kingdom and Europe – always seeking (and usually finding) a “better way”.

Murray’s early experience in marketing consultancy involved his formation of a full-service advertising agency in Sydney. Clients included four major retailers, three airlines, six pharmaceutical and ag/vet marketers, three automotive industry and tyre accounts, four major publishing companies and two kitchen appliance marketers – plus others, over fifteen years.

He founded Bounty Consulting Group in 1987 and in its first eight years the Group created marketing strategies, marketing programs and print, radio and TV advertising, catalogues, books and promotional events for retail clients based in Sydney and Newcastle regions.

Whilst continuing that business, Murray was contracted as a Director of Zip Industries.
For seven years, he assumed primary responsibility for initiating marketing activity for Australian-made Zip instant boiling water appliances, including product design, branding, packaging, literature, service training, spares packaging, advertising, events and sales promotion for Australia, the United Kingdom and key export markets.

For a further eight years he remained an external advisor to the Executive Chairman of Zip, monitoring marketing and promotion issues in Australia, in the UK and over 60 export regions.
